St. Helena is a city in Napa County, California, United States. It is part of the northern San Francisco Bay Area. The population was 6,102 at the 2019 census. St. Helena has one of the most beautiful main streets of all small towns in the United States, and has been featured in several architectural and urban planning magazines. Shops tend to be tourist-oriented, and are almost all interesting and worth visiting.
 

Shops

Walking along Main Street is recommended to anyone visiting the wine country. Vehicular traffic on Main Street can be a problem, particularly on weekends. City police do cite loud motorcycles and leaf blower use is regulated, so the visitor experience is generally a pleasant one as loud noise is discouraged.
 
St. Helena High School serves students in grades 9-12, and the city has two secondary campuses, one is the Upper Valley Campus of Napa Valley College; the other is The Culinary Institute of America at Greystone, a branch campus of the main institution in Hyde Park, New York.
